3. How do I get a quote?

You can request a free estimate by:
  • Filling out the "Get a Quote" form on our website
  • Calling us directly
  • Emailing us

We typically schedule an onsite visit (if needed) to assess the job and then provide a detailed written quote.

4. Is there a fee for the site visit or quote?

No. Our initial consultation and estimate are free of charge. You only pay if you decide to move forward with the work.

5. What factors influence the cost of tree services?

Several variables affect pricing, including:

  • Tree species, height, diameter, health, and location
  • Proximity to structures, powerlines, or other obstacles
  • Accessibility of the work area
  • Volume of debris removal, stump grinding, and site cleanup
  • Travel distance or mobilization costs

6. Do you remove the debris?

Yes, we haul away all debris generated by the work (branches, wood chips, stumps, etc.), and we leave the site neat and clean unless otherwise negotiated.

7. Can I keep the firewood or wood chips?

Yes, if you'd like, we can leave the wood chips or firewood for your use (assuming it's safe and practical). Let us know before work begins so we can plan accordingly.

8. How soon can you schedule the work?

We aim to schedule as quickly as possible, typically within a few days to a week, depending on demand, weather, and job size. For emergency tree removal (e.g. after storms), we'll prioritize as we can.

9. What safety measures do you follow?

Safety is a top priority. Our crews:

  • Use appropriate protective gear (helmets, gloves, eye and hearing protection).
  • Operate certified rigging systems, ropes, and equipment.
  • Adhere to ANSI, OSHA, and industry best practices.
  • Use traffic control and barriers where needed.
  • Only perform high-risk or complex work with trained professionals.

10. Do you handle permitting for tree removal?

Yes, when required. Many cities or municipalities in Minnesota require permits for removing certain trees or doing work in protected zones. We can assist with obtaining the permit or manage the process on your behalf (permit fees are separate).

11. Do you do stump grinding or full stump removal?

We primarily do stump grinding, which reduces the stump below ground level and allows for turf or planting over the area. Complete stump removal (excavation) is possible in some cases. Please ask, and we can assess whether that's feasible for your site.

12. How should I prepare before your crew arrives?

You can help speed things along by:

  • Removing cars, outdoor furniture, and obstacles from the work zone
  • Marking underground utilities, sprinkler lines, and cables
  • Informing us of any special hazards (e.g. pets, sensitive plants, underground lines)
  • Ensuring clear access for our trucks and equipment

13. What happens after the job is done?

After the work is complete, we will:

  • Perform a final cleanup of debris
  • Grind the stump (if applicable) and backfill the hole with wood chips or soil
  • Leave the site safe and tidy
  • Walk through with you to confirm satisfaction

14. What if I'm not satisfied with the work?

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you have any concerns or complaints, contact us immediately. We will respond promptly to address the issue and correct it as needed.

15. Do you offer any maintenance or follow-up services?

Yes, we offer ongoing maintenance plans, such as regular trimming, pruning, and health monitoring. We also provide consultations for tree health, pest control, and disease management.

16. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept checks, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments (e.g. ACH). Payment terms will be included in your quote. Deposits may be required for large jobs.

17. What is your service area?

We service Rice, St. Cloud, Sartell, and the Minneapolis area. If you're outside our regular area, contact us! We may still be able to help, depending on the project size and distance.

18. Can you do commercial or large-scale tree work?

Absolutely. We handle both residential and commercial jobs: from single-tree removal to large-scale lot clearing, landscaping development, and commercial property maintenance.
